Auto/Agri/Truck Industry Consultant - Dealer Spectrum

The primary focus of this exciting role is to consult with and support UNITS® and EQUIP® Dealer Management System clients whilst documenting and actioning agreed elevated business processes.

Experience in an Automotive, Agri or Truck dealership environment (preferably in an accounting capacity) is mandatory. You’ll be engaged in (but not limited to) the following activities:

Client Consulting

  • Providing on-site consulting to Auto-IT’s Dealer Spectrum clients with a view to leading your own consulting team within 6 months

  • Handling all client support enquiries in a responsible, timely & professional manner

  • Travelling locally, interstate and overseas to conduct various consulting and documentation tasks

Project Management

  • Establishing appropriate system setups to meet client needs

  • Determining and setting client agreements on project deliverables and milestones

  • Ensuring adherence to project plans and where deviations occur, proactively communicating with management and clients on progress

Documentation

  • Customising and maintaining client documentation as required

  • Keeping up to date with product releases, builds and factory interfaces bi-monthly

  • Ensuring clients are skilled to meet business requirements

  • Facilitating skill development with clients where required via one-on-one coaching

  • Reviewing and updating data output files for clients’ Dealer Spectrum Dashboard

In addition to the above duties, the target for your role within the next 6 months is to be generating three billable days per week. Your salary will match your experience and productivity.

Business Relationship Manager (x2) - Weave your customer service magic!

 

Two separate roles - one Sydney-based and one Perth-based

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Account Management specialist to join our team. You will form part of the Business Relationship Management team and will manage current clients in NSW or in WA, depending on the location you apply for.

  • Supportive environment. System training provided. BYO IT & Auto industry experience

  • Flexible workplace, manage your own time. Some travel required.

  • Current clients. Manage the NSW or WA Region. Sydney/Perth office base yet travel throughout NSW/WA too.

We require the following skills & attributes:

  • Minimum two years motor dealership experience preferably in Fixed Operations (i.e. Service and/or Parts) or Accounts & Admin

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

  • Client-focused

  • Ability to work effectively unsupervised

  • Exercise initiative

  • Ability to work occasional flexible hours

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong general IT knowledge

You will be provided training on our application software and given onsite experience with our clients’ systems. You will then be expected to use this knowledge, along with your skills and experience, in your position as Client Representative.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Regular visitation of our client base in NSW or WA

  • Provide consultancy, support and training to our clients within three to six months

  • Achieve a consistently high client satisfaction level

  • Achieve a conservative sales budget

  • Installation of our software and hardware products

Experience with an Automotive Dealer Management System would be advantageous.

Software Implementation Consultant - Looking for a career change? Interested in travel?

Due to continued growth we are seeking a quality Implementation Consultant for our Dealer Management Systems. The role involves travel across Australia, installing and implementing the UNITS® Automotive and EQUIP® Agri/Truck software into dealerships, along with support and training to end users.

Typical functions of this role may include:

  • Attending to and documenting client support enquires and the resolution provided

  • Consulting with clients and establishing appropriate system setup to meet their needs

  • Determining with clients project deliverables and dates of milestones

  • Adherence to project plans and where deviations occur, proactively communicating with management and clients on progress

  • Maintaining critical to end-to-end processes

  • Extracting and understanding client requirements and working collaboratively with Project Managers and System Analysts (R&D) to achieve system enhancements that meet client requirements

  • Facilitate client skill development through one-to-one and/or classroom training

  • Ensuring clients’ system needs have been met and their service expectations exceeded

About You

This role requires a good understanding of Windows® and associated products - with preference given to those with any of the following skills and attributes:

  • Accounting Graduate

  • Retail automotive dealership experience in Parts, Service or Administration

  • Enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Responsibility for developing, maintaining and supporting client relationships

  • Excellence in written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work closely with business users as well as with the rest of the Auto-IT team

 

Support Desk Consultant - Put your unique talents to work!

We are currently looking for an experienced Support Consultant with an IT background within an automotive dealership environment with experience in Service, Parts or Administration. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to use their excellent trouble-shooting skills to handle incoming support calls / emails for our application software.

You will have the following skills & attributes:

  • Experience in customer services or call centre environment (preferable)

  • Automotive Dealership experience would be highly regarded.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

  • Client-focused

  • Ability to work effectively unsupervised

  • Excellent written and oral skills.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Your exposure and experience in some of the following areas would be a definite advantage:

  • Automotive dealership experienced Support Consultant with an IT background and experience in either Service, Parts or Administration; you’ll use your excellent trouble shooting skills to handle incoming support calls/emails for our application software. (Knowledge of UNITS® is preferred).

  • You are customer focused and have excellent written and oral skills.

  • Ongoing training and career development for the right applicant.

 

Sydney-Based

  • You will use your business acumen and excellent communication and negotiating skills to sell our DMS solutions - increasing our company’s market share in the retail dealership industry.

  • Prospecting, presenting to clients and compiling tailored proposal documents for potential new clients, you will use your knowledge of DMSs (or similar ERP systems) to match the solution to the client’s requirements.

  • Automotive industry experience is preferred.
